As a valued client of Blake & Sons Moving & Storage, we are writing to share an important update. We continue to closely monitor developments with respect to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are taking steps to safety of our employees and customers. As of today, Blake & Sons Moving & Storage remains fully operational as we are deemed essential. We are carefully watching developments around the country, and we are adhering to all government and health regulations. The safety of our employees and our customers continues to be our top priority. We have educated our staff on the virus and how to prevent its spread. We continue to clean and disinfect our building and trucks to ensure the health of our nation.

We have also implemented the following temporary operational procedures:

Blake & Sons customer MUST practice social distancing (a minimum of 6 feet) with our moving staff and should be prepared to either leave the home after the initial walk-through is completed or have designated places in the home to social distance from.
If the customer has access to masks or face covers (even a bandana will work) we ask that they wear them during he walk through with the crew. If masks are unavailable, please always maintain safe distance of at least six feet.
Blake & Sons Moving staff is prepared to conduct much interaction with customers through phone calls, text and / or virtually (ex. FaceTime, What’s App Video Call, Facebook Messenger Video). This includes estimates, walk-throughs, and any other time you have questions for us.
Moving Crews have been capped at 6 movers or less.
Customers will be asked to sign paperwork at the completion of the move. Please wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for the minimum recommended time of 20 seconds prior to handling documents, pens, etc.
Access to storage and material pick up at our warehouse will be limited, and by appointment only. Please contact our office to schedule as necessary. Contactless delivery of packing materials is available.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update policies and procedures as further developments and guidance arise. Please know that Blake & Sons Moving & Storage is committed to providing you with the same high quality of service during these uncertain times, but will keep safety of our crews and their families, as well as the health and safety of your family at the forefront of any policy changes.
