Things
you can do to ensure a smooth move:
-
Advise movers before starting of job what they will and will
not be moving.
- Before
leaving old residence, make a thorough inspection to be sure
nothing is forgotten (don't forget your house keys).
- At
your new residence, be sure someone is there to meet the movers.
It is very helpful if you direct the movers with each item for
proper placement as it is brought in.
- When
finished, inspect the truck yourself to make sure nothing is
forgotten.
Elevator
Moves:
- Check
with building management for use and key on moving day. It is
very helpful for you or a friend to assist in watching your
goods in hallways, elevators and loading areas.
Terms:
- Cash,
personal check, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card. Payment
